It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Newbarns Primary and Nursery School, having been here since 2022. Newbarns is a wonderful place to work and learn and I feel extremely privileged to lead a team of strong practitioners, all of whom have great expertise and specialisms.

We are a large Primary School with an even larger heart, every child here at Newbarns is well-known, nurtured and encouraged to achieve their very best. Our school motto, "only my best is good enough", remains at the heart of our ethos and we strive for every child to reach their full potential. We seek to enrich pupils' learning beyond the curriculum and provide a wealth of opportunities for them to thrive, including fantastic trips and residentials, visitors to school, after school clubs and in-school opportunities such as the School Council.
